Since graduating from The Citadel in 1995 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration,

Greg Gambrell has primarily worked in the building materials supply industry. Greg initially joined

the GBS team in the Spring of 2012 as an outside sales representative. Four short years later, in April

of 2016, Greg was promoted to the position of Sales Manager and in October of 2017, Greg was

named Vice President of Sales.

According to Nick Campbell, President of GBS, “Greg is a talented professional and possesses

the valuable skills necessary to lead our sales and operational

initiatives to ensure that GBS continues to grow our business in

a way that is meaningful for our customers. In the short time that

Greg has held the position of VP of Sales, he has already made many impactful contributions.”

Greg enjoys the time he spends with both GBS customers & team members. Additionally, he values being

a part of an industry that is constantly changing & is at the forefront of community development. Greg

commented, “The products we sell & the services we provide are being used in people’s homes where they are

raising families & becoming a part of our community & that is meaningful to me. It is an exciting time to be a

part of the building industry in Upstate SC & Western NC.”

Greg is a former Little League President and former VP of Wren Youth Association, a volunteer organization

dedicated to offering youth sports to the Wren community. Greg and his wife, Beth have two children, Gage

(17) and Blythe (12). In his spare time, he enjoys watching his children play baseball and volleyball.
